As part of a multi-year mission plan, this year, we aim to design, develop and manufacture a deep-throttling bi-propellant engine that is capable of thrust vectoring.
From rocket design to Mars rover building, SwanSEDS is passionate about sharing our love of engineering through workshops across the UK. With hands-on activities, school partnerships, and national competitions, we give students of all ages the chance to design, build, and launch their own creations.

Puff was SwanSEDS' first bi-propellant rocket engine. It runs off IPA and Nitrous and uses a triplet impinging injector. It was successfully cold-flow tested at the Race2Space 2025 Competition at Westcott Venture Park.

Draig Twyni was our competition rocket for the Mach-25 competition held at RAF Macrihanish in Scotland. It was entered into Category 3: Experimental of the competition and featured a dual-booster 2 stage design. After a successful flight, and recovering all main parts of the rocket, we won the category with this rocket.
